Brian Stengel joined the firm as a Managing Director to lead the digital media practice. Mr. Stengel will be based in New York and responsible for merger, acquisition and financing advisory services.
Mr. Stengel was previously a senior investment banker at Morgan Stanley where he worked closely with leading private equity firms and their portfolio companies on leveraged acquisitions, debt and equity financings and principal investing assignments with a focus on the Technology, Media and Telecom sectors.
Mr. Stengel previously worked at Goldman Sachs & Co., J. P. Morgan and eColony, a $125mm venture capital fund where he served as a Managing Director focused on internet and e-commerce companies. Additionally, Mr.
Stengel was founder and Managing Director of two boutique advisory firms where he advised digital media clients on M&A, financing and restructuring assignments.
Mr. Stengel has an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and a B.A. from the University of Virginia
