| Fred joined Waller Capital in 2005 and is responsible
for management, business development and senior client
relationships. He brings 35 years of experience as a private
equity investor, investment banker and commercial banker
as well as substantial expertise in the communications
and media industries.
Fred spent the last 9 years as Principal and Vice Chairman
at Hoak Capital Corp., a media and communications oriented
private equity investment firm. Prior to Hoak, Fred
served as Industry Head for Citicorp’s Media and
Entertainment Corporate Finance Group from 1989 to 1996.
He began his career with Citicorp in 1973, and has completed
over $20Bn in media and communications transactions.
Mr. Pickering received a B.S. in Economics from the
University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and
an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University.
