Ian joined Waller Capital in 2003
and acts as an advisor to the firm on a broad range of
issues and assignments. Prior to Waller, he was with Toronto
Dominion Bank, where he served as Vice Chairman of TD
Securities in the US. Ian joined TD in the late 1970's,
and during his time with the bank, TD was the world's
leading arranger and provider of capital to the media
and telecom sectors. He ran the U.S. Media and Communications
Group for his last 10 years at the bank and was responsible
for TD's corporate and investment banking business development
effort and client relationship management for media and
communications companies. Ian is one of the most widely-known
figures in telecommunications finance in the past decade.
Ian graduated in 1972 from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland
with a BA (Honours) in Business Economics. |
